John says that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Jesus’ ministry began with a proclamation of freedom for the prisoners, and immediately thereafter a head on collision with the forces of darkness, silencing demonic voices and setting those free who were harassed and helpless. Jesus is still in the freedom business. What does freedom from darkness and the demonic look like for us today?
